Dr. Robert Pearlman, a Board-Certified, vitreo-retinal surgeon, completed his internship at Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia and did his ophthalmology residency at Temple University. He completed his fellowship in vitreo-retinal Surgery at Northwestern University and Medical Center. He is involved in the training of retina surgery fellows as a Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Pearlman is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Chicago Ophthalmological Society, the Illinois Association of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. He is also an active member of the medical staffs of a variety of local hospitals. Dr. Pearlman has been in private practice since 2002.
Dr. Pearlman is fluent in Hebrew and Spanish and is an avid student of Arabic.
